Adding Account ID's to a Party

Accoiunt ID's are identification numbers or codes that associated with a Party.
(Examples: Carrier's have SCAC codes, Bonded warehouses have FIRMS codes, Airline's have IATA codes, etc.)
Note
Not all Parties will have an Account ID. Also, Tax ID's are not Account ID's. There is a separate field in the system for Tax ID's.
Navigation
- Click on Application Selector > Control Panel > Parties
- Then click on the Create Party button or the Edit Icon.
Note
You need to be in a Party record before you can Add or Delete Addresses from a Party. You can either create a new party or edit an existing party. Both of these can be done from the Party Maintenance screen as circled in red above.
- From the Create Party or Edit Party screen, locate the Add Account ID button
Steps
- Click on the Account Id button
- Select an ID type from the list
Alert
Again, you will not find EIN (Employee Identification Number) in the ID Type list since it is a government tax ID. Logiware has a separate field for entering the Tax ID.
- Enter the Value for the ID

You can add multiple ID's to a Party.
